Meet Lisa, the owner.

I was born in New Orleans a long, long time ago.

I was the weird kid who made a beeline for garage sales, junk stores, and white elephant church sales; hence, the name. No rides or games for me - just old stuff. I still have things I bought at garage sales as a kid.

My passions are junk, old stuff, flea markets, antique stores, etc. I am fairly shallow.

I came up to go to LSU and stayed in BR. I graduated with a degree in Horticulture and worked in the field until I had kids. I was a stay-at-home mom who tried her best and made more than one questionable parenting decision.

Through it all, I continued buying and selling junk.

I popped out three kids, and when youngest went to school, I started a booth at Aladdins Antiques and worked there for 5 years. The building came up for sale, so I bought it and made it my own! I took over and fulfilled my five-year fantasy of taking a sledgehammer to the building and gutting it! I completely remodeled all three buildings and opened The Pink Elephant Antiques five years ago.

I am a shopkeeper, and I love everything about it- from sweeping the front stoop to decorating the shop to helping unite customers with their treasures. I love old stuff to my core. I love the history, the craftsmanship, the uniqueness of old things. Screw new!

Rhonda Fonaris

I have always been an outgoing natural-born sales person. 15 years ago I started traveling to Asia and Indonesia importing furniture to wholesale at market.
As life and family does, one day my life was turned upside down. I found myself diving into real estate. As rewarding as it is, I needed more. Since I still had some furniture and antiques left over, I started trying to be creative. I began painting, refinishing, and selling my merchandise. It was at that time I heard about a new upcoming antique vintage store called The Pink Elephant that was opening. I was introduced to the idea of coming on board as one of the dealers. I immediately jumped at the opportunity. It has turned out to be one of the best things I could have ever imagined. The friendships I have made between other dealers and so many customers has been a true blessing for me.
I must admit it is a total addiction. The challenge of finding new merchandise, traveling around to shop for new treasures is over-the-top fun and nonstop!

Rolf and Jackie Logan

Jackie and I started collecting vinyl records in 2014 when we got a turntable and started playing my '80's records which were stashed in the closet. Around that time, we learned that Rolling Stone Magazine had a list of 500 Greatest Albums of all time. So, we set out to finish the collection. It took us 4 years, but we finally finished a one-of-a-kind collection.

During the process, we learned that we could find some really cool vinyl records, restore them and then resell them. We are now dealers at 8 locations in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Our customers love Classic Rock the Most, followed by Country and Rhythm and Blues/Jazz. Our customer age ranges from Teens to Mature adults. Our customers love the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Frank Sinatra, and More.

Vinyl Record Sales are at a record high, and now exceed CD's and DVD's. Essentially, what a Movie Theater is to a Movie, that's what Vinyl Record is to a song, or group of songs. When you want the deepest, richest sound to your music, get a nice turntable and enjoy!

We do what we do because we think this is the best way to enjoy music, and we like to provide our customers with the highest quality used vinyl records for their listening pleasure. We believe that by giving our customers access to these vinyl records, we have a part in bringing them the joy of music.
